Churchill was born on November 30, 1874

On November 30th, 1874, at 1:30AM GMT, early in the morning (This would have been 7:30PM Minneapolis time on the 29th), our patron, Sir Winston Churchill was born, at his family’s ancestral home in Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire. He was of rich, aristocratic ancestry. On his father’s side, he was a member of the British aristocracy as a direct descendant of the 1st Duke of Marlborough. His father, Lord Randolph Churchill, representing the Conservative Party, had been elected Member of Parliament (MP) for Woodstock in 1873.
