Zuhrah’s 2023 Potentates Ball

Come join us to welcome our brother Wor. Scott Hughes as our Zuhrah Potentate for 2023! The Pote’s Ball 2023 will be held the weekend of January 27-28th, at two venues:
Friday night at the Zuhrah Shrine Center – All you can eat pulled-pork meal, keg beer & soda.
Saturday night at Jax Cafe in NE Minneapolis – Formal Dinner and entertainment by the Danger Committee.
The theme this year returns us to our beloved room competition during the Friday night event, where units vie for awards for the best “school carnival” booths, giving away trinkets. The Divan may even provide a bouncy house. Scott plans a boatload of awards and prizes for the participants. The Chairmen will, of course, begin planning in earnest at the Nov smoker, with the brain trust already thinking about what to do. When we sign up for a booth (Duck Duck Grey Duck, bottle toss, whatever) we will lock in that theme for ourselves, so dem Horsemen cannot copy us – capiche?
