Masons far and wide

Many Churchill Lodge men travel to “foreign jurisdictions”, which, Masonically, means other countries, states, or even the meetings of the nearby Prince Hall jurisdiction with whom we share the state of Minnesota.

Our own Bro. Richard Carter manages merchandising for large scale concert tours. While on the road, he often visits lodges. He is pictured here, on the right, with a local lodge master in the province of Minas Gerais, in SE Brazil. The lighter blue and decoration on the WM’s apron, cuffs and sash indicate that his is an Emulation ritual lodge, although of course the language they use is Portuguese. Churchill brethren who have learned the Emulation work can easily follow along in a lodge meeting, even if they do not speak the local language. Below, Richard is pictured at the Master’s dias. You can tell, as it is on three steps. He’s smiling, on the inside.

We Churchill masons travel extensively. Another brother, our newest Mason, Jay Gabriel is visiting his family home in the Philippines. Upon his return, we’ll share any lodge photos he brings us.

Masons in good standing are always encouraged to visit local lodges while they travel.
